Representing Scotland
If you're Scottish by birth, heritage or residency and you've set your nationality to Scotland on your coach profile on The NAF then you are in a position to be selected and represent Scotland at Eurobowl, the annual invitational tournament the pits the nations of Europe against one another to determine and declare the winners, held every three out of four years.

Selection Process for Eurobowl XVI in Budapest, Hungary
For Eurobowl XVI, Budapest Hungary the current captain BB_Jock invited Scottish coaches to apply to be considered for selection for the Team Scotland Squad of twelve coaches. Jock formed a selection committee comprising of four, including himself the membership of the committee included; Purdindas (Vice Captain), Loki (six-time capped coach) and ChrisRaff88 (then Chairman of the Scottish Blood Bowl Committee).

The Selection Criteria was laid out in advance of applications being opened and can be read here. Having received twenty-six applications from Scottish coaches the Selection Committee convened and using the selection criteria analysed the applications and the underlying coach data derived from The NAF database of matches recorded.
Jock has written an extensive series of blog posts on his vision and approach to managing the squad, the selection process, the analysis and more. You can read them:

Selection Process for Eurobowl XVII in Warsaw Poland
Eurobowl XVII is set to be held on 17-18 October 2026 in Warsaw Poland. The selection process for next year's Scotland Squad will be for the elected Captain to set out in their manifesto the approach they're expecting to take when forming the Squad of twelve coaches. It is a reasonable assumption that for a coach to be considered for selection they will have to submit an application. However details of the process and selection criteria will be for the next Captain to lay out in the fullness of time after they've been elected. Thee next Scotland Captain is expected to be elected shortly after Eurobowl XVI in Hungary this coming October.
